What you'll learn

Myofascial Release
Techniques

How to apply myofascial release techniques to improve mobility, reduce tension, and restore balance in the body.

Fascia and Movement
Science

A deeper understanding of fascia’s role in movement, recovery, and overall well-being.

Vagus Nerve
Regulation

How to assess and regulate vagal tone to enhance muscle function, circulation, and long-term mobility outcomes.

Course structure

By the end of this workshop, participants will understand fascia and the vagus nerve, gain hands-on practice in myofascial techniques, and learn tools to support mobility, balance, and overall well-being in both personal and professional settings.

Day 1

This day is designed to build a strong foundation in MFR and its practical applications. We will focus on understanding the structure and properties of fascia, and its function in the body. Topics will include:
  • Bio-tensegrity
  • Interstitial fluid
  • Fascial networks
  • Their influence on posture and movement.
  • How fascial restrictions impact posture and range of motion (ROM)
Participants will learn full-body Myofascial Release (MFR) techniques, practice postural evaluation and palpation skills, to include areas such as feeling restrictions in the fascial system, understanding common postural patterns and compensations.

Day 2

We will explore the importance of the vagus nerve in movement, rehabilitation, and recovery, which explores:
  • The connection between fascia, the autonomic nervous system, and how this affects rehabilitation
  • Signs of vagus nerve dysfunction and how to address them
Participants will learn how nervous system regulation plays a key role in muscle function and mobility. The session will cover vagus nerve stimulation techniques, integrating them with myofascial release for a more holistic approach to bodywork. Plenty of hands-on practice and demonstrations will help refine techniques and ensure participants feel comfortable applying what they’ve learned.

“I loved Claire’s teaching – everything was so clear with the theory of MFR. She also made it all so easy to understand on a practical level. I was surprised how effective these techniques were and I cannot wait to use them on my clients where results have been somewhat limited.
Highly recommended for those wishing to take their skills to a whole new level!!”
