Myofascial Release Treatment in Hove
What is Myofascial Release?
Myofascial Release is a gentle, highly effective hands-on therapy that works with the body’s fascia – the connective tissue that surrounds and supports your muscles, bones, joints and organs. Over time, physical injury, repetitive movements, poor posture, stress or surgery can cause this tissue to become tight and restricted, leading to pain, stiffness and reduced mobility.
By applying sustained, gentle pressure to areas of restriction, Myofascial Release encourages the fascia to soften and release naturally, allowing the body to regain balance and move more comfortably.
How does it work?
Unlike traditional massage, Myofascial Release works slowly and precisely, following the body’s natural restrictions rather than forcing the tissue to change. Gentle sustained pressure allows the fascia to lengthen and rehydrate, helping to restore movement, reduce pain and improve overall function.
As restrictions are released, many clients notice improvements not only in their mobility, but also in posture, circulation and general wellbeing. Because fascia is connected throughout the entire body, releasing one area can often have a positive effect elsewhere.
